Subscribe/Buy

Important Announcement: Please note that we have recently announced that The Briefing will cease publication at the end of 2014. So we are no longer accepting new subscriptions. (Links below have therefore been removed.) There are exciting plans for new ways to keep spreading and promoting and encouraging the Bible-based vision of Christian life and ministry that the Briefing has championed for the last quarter of a century. Keep in touch (through this Briefing web site or our eNews service) to get more details as they are announced.

If you just can’t wait for all the articles to be available online…
If you love the smell of fresh ink on paper…
If you prefer reading your content in ebook format…
If you like to keep your own archive for future reference…
If you love iOS apps that keep you up-to-date without hassle…
If you love to support The Briefing with a bit of your hard earned money…

…there are a number of other ways to read The Briefing that we think you’re going to love.

Subscription – printed copy mailed

Even in this digital age, thousands of Briefing readers still prefer to pay a small cost to have a paper copy mailed to them six times a year. (There’s just something about paper.) The printed Briefing is 52 pages of beautifully designed full-colour printing on quality paper.

Click the links below to order your paper subscription through our online store, or call Matthias Media.

The AUD prices listed below include postage within Australia (and link to the item in our Australian online store). The USD prices include postage to the USA (and link to the item in our US online store).

Easy renew* subscription: AUD $24.95 USD $28.99
Standard subscription: AUD $26.95 USD $29.99

* What is the ‘easy renew’ subscription option?
The easy renew option simply means that you authorize us now to automatically renew your subscription by credit card at the end of the subscription period. This is done by debiting your credit card and sending you the receipt. However, upon receiving the receipt, you are free to change your mind and discontinue the subscription.

Why do we offer this option? Simply to make the renewal process easier for us and for you. The majority of our subscribers elect to use this option because they know the only reason they wouldn’t continue getting The Briefing is because the renewal letter gets buried under a pile of paper on the kitchen bench. Chasing people in this instance just costs us time and money, so that’s why we give a small financial incentive for ‘easy renew’.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

Your Briefing print magazine subscription comes with an automatic ‘no questions asked’ money back guarantee. If, after you receive your first issue, you see that The Briefing is not what you expected and wish to cancel, just let us know before you receive your second issue and we’ll give you a full refund. Cancel your subscription at any time after this for a refund of the unused portion of your subscription (ie. a pro rata refund). Give The Briefing a try—we’re confident you won’t need the guarantee, but it’s there for you just in case.

For countries outside of Australia, different rates apply. In the UK and Europe, subscribe by contacting The Good Book Company. For other overseas destinations, email our Australian office for details of subscription rates.

Buy an individual issue — iOS app delivery

If you’d rather not subscribe, you can still access all of the bi-monthly content in digital form for reading offline on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch through the free Briefing app.

Each issue (as well as our new Brief Books) can be downloaded within the app as an in-app purchase.

Price per issue/book:  AUD $4.49*  |  USD $3.99

* Why is the Australian in-app purchase price higher than the price of the ebook file in the iBookstore and Matthias Media’s own store? Well, you’ll have to ask Apple that. For some reason the pricing tiers they allow for in-app purchases and ebooks is different. So we literally can’t charge the same price. Go figure?!
